The under-the-sea theme of Spring 2012 has resonated with me since Florence emerged from a half-shell at Chanel last September singing this very song - which makes me original, I get it. What has happened is that I was bequeathed all the rest of F+tM albums for Christmas and it only further coddled my desire to alight on a bed of coral and make "a faustian bargain with an unscrupulous seahag in order to meet a human prince on land" (for real: IMDB's definition of The Little Mermaid).
Or maybe it just makes me want to wear every shade of blue that exists and wish I was on a cruise this week I'm off of school. Probably the latter.
