ANNOUNCEMENT: Designer Month

I'm not "obsessed" with fashion. I know it appears like it on here, but in truth, I am more "obsessed" with design, color and the inner mechanisms of brains bent on the avant-garde. 

I like to find out why people put on what they do; what's behind the art they create. I hope that might sufficiently explain this blog's motto: "fashion, people and creativity" - I like fashion because of people, because of creativity, so here it goes.

In honor of Fashion Month, I officially dub September as "Designer Month" on Heroine Chic - but hold your Hermés horsebits. J'adore Proenza and the friendly fraternity of the established elites as much as you do (London is my fav) but you know where to find them, and it's not here. 

In honor of the design skills we celebrate this month, then - in honor of PEOPLE and CREATIVITY and the fact that I've been slacking on the blog lately -  
I am dedicating each week this month to one special designer that I have lately had the privilege to interview.
