Outfit One: Vintage altered bed jacket. I wore this outfit at Christmas last year.
Bed jacket: Wayward Threads; leather leggings; H&M (super similar over here at BCBG, but the ones at your local H&M are $13!); tank: Forever 21; shoes: Rachel Rachel Roy; bag: the Melie Bianco Monica from Just Jane; necklaces: vintage.
Outfit Two: Vintage altered lavender slip. For a night on the town - in flats:)
Dress: vintage altered slip from Wayward Threads; lace shorts: Ebay (similar here for $7); flats: vintage Salvatore Ferragamo; jacket: AWESOMENESS from Vintage by Misty; huge rectangular silver clutch: Ann Arbor.
Outfit Three: Vintage altered slip again. Fits like a delicate glove; I'm in love with this. I wore this to a wedding (yeah, it's ok to wear black to weddings! I say so -) two years ago.
Altered vintage slip from where else? Wayward Threads. <3
If you missed my post about fiber artist and designer Lorri Scott, the creator of these stunning garments and owner of Wayward Threads, by all means, click this link to get in the know. I wanted to show how delicate, couture-bedazzled vintage pieces can and have been worn in real life. These are three of my favorite outfits, and though I like accessories so I jazz 'em up for fun, they speak for themselves in style, quality and timelessness.
